The Immersive Poetry Experience uses the stage as the page. The spirit of poetry is an eternal adventure, swarming with new questions and thoughts emerging at every turn, sprouting as they seek solutions.

Poetrusic is a journey, a performance that is ever changing, seeking not to stand still. It is a carefully woven warp and weft of poems intertwined at times with soundscapes, music, movement or maybe visuals to create an immersive and soulful experience. One that delves, probes, clobbers and cavorts through different aspects and shades of our humanity, hopefully agenda free, non-political and humble…sense of humour intact!

The performance is a montage of poems that capture moments, moods and slices of life. The selection includes poems by Maya Angelou, Charles Bukowski, Nissim Ezekiel, Pablo Neruda, Gulzar to mention a few.

 

As we grow the performance grows in diverse ways and we co-create the performance to personalize the event.
